Monthly CE Webinar: Tax and Financial Planning Outlook for 2022

January 20, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm CST

As a new year takes over, DC still seems to be stuck in 2021. However, with Build Back Better, and the SECURE Act 2.0 still in motion, a lot could change with financial planning and tax planning in 2022. We have seen changes to crypto rules, IRS deadlines, and new RMD tables that kick in for 2022.
Additionally, outside of those two bills, Biden has proposed supporting Social Security, Medicare, and fixing some long-term care issues out there for caregivers.

The presentation will cover how to approach retirement, tax and financial planning in 2022 with expected administrative changes and other policy proposals:

– Better understand how Biden administration might rework the 401(k) tax benefits
– Better understand the proposed changes to tax credits around setting up retirement plans
– Better understand the Build Back Better Act
– Define the importance of tax reform in light of a potential retroactive tax bill
– Determine how to handle potential tax and legal changes in 2022
– Review how to incorporate the new RMD tables into your financial planning

Join Jamie Hopkins, Managing Partner of Wealth Solutions at Carson, and Craig Lemoine, Director of the Financial Planning Program at the University of Illinois, as they discuss Tax Planning and Financial Planning in 2022.

This is a Continuing Education (CE) webinar. Live attendees will be eligible for CFP and The American College CE credit.
